Job Purpose :
You will assist the Senior Manager / Head of Business Development - Intermediary to render professional sales and account management service that helps to achieve targets and make contribution to the overall development of the health insurance business as generated by intermediaries.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities :
Closely work with Head of BD to develop and implement sales plan in driving new business’ sales targets for both Group and Individual products.
Retain existing contracts and negotiate renewal contracts with agents and brokers in pursuit of the most favourable terms and profitability to the Company.
Serve agents / brokers and maintain good relationship with them with the aim to build up a strong customer base with agents / brokers.
Prepare proposals and presentation materials.
Provide administrative support, handle enquiries and complaints.
Perform review on daily process and prepare regular reports with respective to relevant controls and guideline from Risk & Compliance
Collect market intelligence on competitors’ activities including products, pricing, catalogues, selling tactics, etc.
Develop and review marketing materials, e.g. training & staff briefing.
Conduct policy underwriting according to the Company’s guidelines.
Support and participate in new product and market development.
To be successful in the position, you should ideally have :
Bachelor degree in business or equivalent
General Insurance with IIQE (Paper I & II) qualifications
Minimum 6 years related experience (insurance field would be an advantage)
Good interpersonal, problem solving, influencing and presentation skills
Responsible, well organized and attention to details, able to adapt to changes and work under pressure
Self-motivated, driven individuals with an interest in the healthcare sector
Good team player with strong commitment in delivering quality customer service
Good communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English & Chinese
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
