Reporting to Asia-Pacific President, the Distribution Planner’s primary role is to insure product availability and to optimize inventory levels for APAC Region.
Distribution Planner APAC is responsible for allocating local inventory according to Demand and products availability. A successful candidate will have in-
depth knowledge of inventory planning management. This position is based in Hong Kong and will include significant interaction with Balenciaga Global Supply Chain Dept in Paris.
Manage inventory level in order to guarantee stock availability for permanent and seasonal productsDefine Stock targets according to store assortment and product lifecycleRun allocation tool to guarantee the right inventory level in Retail storesUpdate allocation tool parametersManage new product launches according schedules and guidelines defined by MerchandizingManage reverse logistics
Operate local distribution and shipping from warehouse to storesInsure point of sales daily replenishment considering stores capacity constraintsPlan frequent visits to Stores in order to identify their specific needs
Participate to Retail development projects in a strong growth contextStores openingsStores relocation
Degree holder, preferably in Business or Supply Chain
5 years’ experience in Retail Distribution Planning
Proficiency in Excel
Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail and customer service
Combination of analytical and communication skills
Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese and English, French is a plus
