APAC Engagement Manager will lead our AML Enterprise Process Oversight (EPO) team in Asia. The GT&O Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Enterprise Process Oversight (EPO) teams have oversight over the firm’s ability to achieve and sustain regulatory compliance.
The AML EPO teams oversee the execution of significant processes by partnering with the Front Line Units (FLUs), Operations, Technology, Global Financial Crimes Compliance and Legal.
EPOs perform key functions to identify and mitigate risks, achieve operating targets and consistently comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
The APAC Engagement Manager brings the full set of AML EPO oversight functions to the business by enabling and influencing applicable FLUs and Operations and driving performance against standards and procedures.
The Engagement Lead understands end-to-end processes and holds process owners accountable for risk identification, control environment and ongoing quality assurance and monitoring to ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards.
The APAC Engagement Lead will support all 12 jurisdictions in APAC and across the global banking and market businesses.
Act as APAC AML EPO Regional Engagement Lead managing a team to oversee :
Partners with Compliance, Risk, Audit and Business partners to close gaps in compliance with emerging requirements
oversees issue remediation efforts if necessary; helps to define prevention programs; and provides active guidance on process
recommends remediation actions if necessary
preference for having AML experience
