Prepare accurate and timely financial reports;
Reconcile, compile and analyze account information;
Prepare and analyze financial viability studies;
Prepare management reports, financial analysis / forecasts;
Assist in annual budget preparation and budgetary control in accordance with established policies / procedures;
Assist in financial analysis / management for special projects;
Review agreements and assess financial implications;
Assist in financial system development and process improvement;
Provide administrative support to committees;
Handle and resolve enquiries from stakeholders; and
Perform any other duties as assigned.
A good honours degree in Accounting / Finance with relevant professional qualification and post-qualification experience in all accounting functions.
Strong sense of responsibility; ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure; being self-motivated with strong analytical skills;
strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint) are preferred.
Hands-on experience in Oracle Financial System and implementation of other financial systems would be an advantage.
Candidates with more than 7 years’ experience may be considered for appointment as Accounting Officer I.
