Assistant Business Solutions Manager


  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertisein Insurance domain and apply this to the execution and improvement of actionplans by providing advice and guidance to others in the project / productexecution and best practices.
  • Support and align efforts to meetcustomer and business needs
  • Manage customer relationships andexpectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date onproject results
  • Stay current with stakeholdersneeds and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communicationmethods to communicate updates and findings;

  • Provide and support theimplementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnershipswith key stakeholders;

  • Provide project level analysis producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scopematrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan)
  • Collaborate closely withdevelopers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testersduring QA process
  • Identify improvementopportunities (proactive and reactive)
  • Elicit and clearly documentbusiness and systems requirements
  • Assess business process andsystem inefficiencies
  • Identify ways to increaseadoption and customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated fluency in businessprocesses and process differentiation
  • Ability to analyse and synthesizebusiness requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizingprocesses
  • Understand and negotiate needsand expectations of multiple stakeholders
  • Serve as a liaison betweenOperations and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for systemmodifications, enhancement and implementations
  • Assist with and testimplementation for all payer and vendor relationships to ensure data transfercollection, quality and reporting relationships are working appropriately downto the market level to ensure market team member and provider experience isappropriate
  • Create and maintain issue logs,meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates
  • Meetwith project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines
  • Qualifications

  • Over 7+ years of experience in Insurance / Financial Services Industry, with a focus on business analysis and / or system analysis
  • Proven track record in specifying user requirements and managing User Acceptance Testing and Implementation Verification Tests
  • Previous project management / Agile experience
  • Knowledge / working experience on JIRA and other tools
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills along with being organized, structured, assertive are required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
