Regional Program Manager, Tech Partner

Regional program over lay role reporting into Senior Director in Hong Kong. Working to develop regional channel programs and enablement plans across APAC.

In this role you will work with the large partners of Equinix on go to market strategies with the key objective of driving joint propositions and positioning for rapid growth.

We are looking for a strategically minded channel business expert who has proven ability working in the channel building key relationships at executive level.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as Sales Leadership, Business Development and the Global Accounts Organization, in the identification of strategic alliance partners and definition of initial related joint value proposition Integrated Solutions / Joint Value Proposition.
  • Engages partner and Equinix cross-functional team members, such as Marketing, Sales Engineers, Solutions Architects, and Product Management, for technical positioning, alignment, and packaging.
  • Develops and facilitates alignment for joint value proposition and bundled offer Go-to-market.
  • Responsible for GTM Preparation : collateral and messaging, JVP content, use cases, partner central, partner directory, and partner sales training.
  • Influence and support in-country channel teams across the region on per country GTM execution.
  • Engages Channel Marketing and coordinates development of initial go-to-market and first deal strategy.
  • Manages long-term relationships with partners.
  • Ensures the designation and alignment of Executive sponsors Partner Development / Activation & Enablement.
  • Coordinates development and approval of Marketing Plan, targets, strategies, activities, and co-marketing investments to support Channel Partner Business Plan with Platform Partner alignment.
  • Facilitates cross-functional review of partnership performance, including sales, operations, and marketing, as established in Partner Business Plan.
  • Expertly articulates business value of joint value proposition with Equinix.
  • Qualifications

  • Strong proven success in channel sales for an internet, network, data center, hyperscaler or cloud-based products or services provider preferred.
  • Proven experience of working with large strategic partners on go to market activities
  • Known in the market for building strong relationships
  • Preferable that they have worked across APAC or have the ability to pick up the remit
  • Knowledgeable in sell-with, sell-through, sell-to motions and strategically minded.
