Job Description

Implement the global insurance strategy via utilization and maintenance of global insurance programmes.

Define strategy and implement local placement of other insurances

Provide budget advice and guidance to business and budget on insurance cost for tenders / business plans

Process claims

Continually review the company risk profile to ensure the insurance programmes are fit for purpose

Manage the global external relationships with service providers including Brokers, Insurers, Claim Handlers and Loss Adjusters

Coordinate loss prevention programme from our insurers

Plan and develop IT solution for insurance related tasks

Qualifications

Degree holder in Insurance, Engineering, Legal, Finance or related disciplines; preferably with qualification in The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (Senior Associate) (ANZIIF Snr Assoc) or Chartered Insurance Institute (Advanced Diploma in Insurance) (ACII)

Minimum of 8-10 years insurance or risk management related experience gained from international insurance firms / for Asian countries other than China

Solid experience working with, or consulting for, insurance organisations or insurance regulators

Experience in supporting digitalization tasks related to insurance

Good interpersonal and negotiation skills

Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin with ability to present articulately with appropriate level of gravitas.

Occasional travel needed

Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Manager of Insurance.
