  • accuracy; efficiency and control to frame and influence business decisions. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Asset, Liability and Capital Management -

    Capital. Principal responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the Regional Asset, Liability and Capital Management (ALCM) team in respect of Capital Management
  • Ensure that capital is managed in line with the Group’s capital management framework
  • Deliver guidance and support to global businesses and other stakeholders in respect of the Group’s framework for managing capital
  • Anticipate the impact of regulatory changes and business growth on the Group and Asia-Pacific risk profile and risk management framework;
  • proactively monitor economic and operating environment and provide advice through the ALCO process to senior management

  • Support and deputize for the Regional Head of Capital Management
  • Requirements

  • Professionally qualified as a Chartered Accountant, Management Accountant, Association of Corporate Treasurers, Chartered Financial Analyst or equivalent
  • Solid experience in finance, regulatory regimes, corporate treasury, and financial planning
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas both written and verbally at all levels
  • Good knowledge of the HSBC Group and its operating policies is essential
  • Strong people and team management experience
  • Ability to be highly efficient, and deal with both highly confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion
  • Must be able to think and act independently, often within tight timeframes, to formulate sound advice or actions which have a clear direction and are commercially and operationally acceptable
  • Must have strong financial analysis skills, ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy, and ability to communicate complex ideas both written and verbally at all levels
