accuracy; efficiency and control to frame and influence business decisions. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Asset, Liability and Capital Management -
Capital. Principal responsibilities
Provide leadership to the Regional Asset, Liability and Capital Management (ALCM) team in respect of Capital Management
Ensure that capital is managed in line with the Group’s capital management framework
Deliver guidance and support to global businesses and other stakeholders in respect of the Group’s framework for managing capital
Anticipate the impact of regulatory changes and business growth on the Group and Asia-Pacific risk profile and risk management framework;
proactively monitor economic and operating environment and provide advice through the ALCO process to senior management
Support and deputize for the Regional Head of Capital Management
Professionally qualified as a Chartered Accountant, Management Accountant, Association of Corporate Treasurers, Chartered Financial Analyst or equivalent
Solid experience in finance, regulatory regimes, corporate treasury, and financial planning
Ability to communicate complex ideas both written and verbally at all levels
Good knowledge of the HSBC Group and its operating policies is essential
Strong people and team management experience
Ability to be highly efficient, and deal with both highly confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion
Must be able to think and act independently, often within tight timeframes, to formulate sound advice or actions which have a clear direction and are commercially and operationally acceptable
Must have strong financial analysis skills, ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy, and ability to communicate complex ideas both written and verbally at all levels
