Perform actuarial analysis for both economic and regulatory risk appetite assessments; assist with capital projects and capital initiatives
Job Descriptions :
Perform quantitative risk appetite assessments from both a regulatory and economic capital perspective.
Participate in capital projects and initiatives by providing financial impact analysis and assist with the implementation of these projects into BAU.
Participate in capital remittance process by accessing the risk capacity of the company, including the projection of solvency under different risk scenarios.
Assist in preparing Board Papers and presentation decks for various Board and advisory committees.
Provide training and guidance to junior team members, review and perform reasonableness check of the result.
Job Requirements :
University degree holder majoring in Actuarial Science or related fields.
Associate of the Society of Actuaries, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, or other equivalent actuarial body.
Min. 3 years of relevant experience
Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills;
Solid actuarial knowledge (e.g. various reserving and capital reporting basis) and good financial modeling skill;
Experience in capital management, ALM, valuation or investments operations is highly preferred;
Knowledge in Prophet model programming is preferred and stochastic modelling skill is a plus;
Good communication skills and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
