We are looking for a highly dedicated and enthusiastic person who is able to deliver high quality results on time while handling several tasks at the same time

  • The opportunity to dedicatedly support management in identifying, preventing and handling the risks resulting from internal processes, people, systems or external events
  • Managing and coordinating risk management topics across the Business Area as well as shaping business initiatives from a risk perspective
  • Work collaboratively with the product specialists, management, divisional FLDS and specialists across the bank
  • A strong interaction with 2nd and 3rd line of defense
  • As a preferred sparring partner and coach of the First Line of Defense, strengthening a positive risk culture within the business area.
  • Contributing to the department’s operational risk management activities. Reviewing and maintaining policies and controls, managing the internal supervisory framework, incident handling, risk assessments, monitoring of risk indicators
  • Risk Management Reporting - Monitoring of local risk cases, processes, ensure implementation of measures
  • Assist in preparing and publishing various risk metrics for Hong Kong Management, Wealth Management APAC, which includes data and trend analysis.

    Join a trustworthy and self-initiated First Line of Defense Support team in the Location COO office. You collaborate with the front office and senior management to ensure visibility on risk management.

    You work closely with the APAC FLDS, Competence Centre, Location COO office and three lines of defense functions to manage risk related topics and drive implementation in Hong Kong location.

    Your skills and experience

    To excel in this role, you should possess :

    University degree or equivalent education

    At least 2-3 years of experience in Private Banking

    Proven ability to manage work well under pressure, in a busy and dynamic environment

    Must be diligent and have a strong a control mind-set, identifying and raising any suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity

    Accuracy and eye for details

    Ability to work with peaks and troughs of work volumes

    Strong communication and organizational skills.
