Review functional specifications and perform UAT for the new policy administration system, Project Coast, as well as reviewing the day-
to-day workflow for group business underwriting.
Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate with project team and communicate on the detailed user requirements.
Review the functional specifications of Project Coast.
Review the current underwriting process and make suggestions on process improvement in related to Project Coast.
Underwrites group cases by analyzing benefits, claim experience, terms & conditions and reinsurance arrangement to ensure sufficient margin has been catered for projected claims, medical trend, variables, expenses and profit margin while maintaining competitiveness of product.
Gathers claim data, prepares benefit analysis and works out group cases premium projections and terms recommendations for cases exceeding local authority for higher authority review and approval.
Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet business requirements.
University / College graduate plus over 2 year related working experience.
Communication & interpersonal skills.
