Our client is one of the leading PRC based property investment and developer group, they are currently looking for a high caliber to fill up above positions for their HK subsidiary company.
Cheung Kei JD
Draft, review and negotiate legal / commercial documents and agreements
Conduct legal research, provide legal advice and identify legal risks to protect the group's rights and interests
Provide legal support to the company's management
Handle Hong Kong and overseas M&A legal affairs
Oversee and lead a range of capital markets transactions including but not limited to debt financing and M&A
Advise on and review syndicated and bilateral loan transactions, private funds, hedging products and convertible bonds
Liaise and communicate with internal and external parties
Advise on and ensure compliance with company policies
To address disputes involving leased properties
Manage external counsel
Perform any other ad hoc tasks as required
Negotiate, draft and implement the terms for loan, bond, note or structure financing document, investment contract and agreement.
Review loan documentation, investment and financing proposals and identify the risk and legal implications
Ensure legal risks are identified and mitigated.
Liaise with bank, external lawyers, and service providers for financing and investment activities.
Providing legal advice and facilitating corporate transactions for the Group
Handle legal affairs of company restructure, merge and acquisition matters
Ad Hoc projects in financing and investment.
Cheung Kei JD
Holder of LLB (Common Law) or above
Minimum 8-10 years post qualification experience
Excellent Cantonese, Mandarin and English for negotiations, document review, research and drafting
Candidates with in-house legal experience is highly preferred
Candidates with less experience can be considered as Assistant Legal Manager
Immediately available would be an advantage
Commencement on Feb 2019
Self drafted JD
Bachelor's Degree in Law or related discipline.
Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years' post qualification experience in handling commercial loan documents.
A minimum of 5 years working experience with at least 3-year experience within the bank or corporate legal dept.
Experience in general banking finance, including leveraged, structured, project finance, syndicated and bilateral financings (both secured and unsecured).
Able to work independently and have good legal drafting, negotiation, presentation and analytical skills.
Able to work under pressure and multi-tasks.
Fluent in both spoken and written English, and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
Candidates with less experience will be considered for junior position.
