Responsibilities :

  • Contributeanalytical views for institutional business for strategic development andgrowth
  • BudgetPlanning
  • StrategicCost Management and Drive Cost Savings initiatives
  • Responsiblefor expenses management : To ensure timely DOA approval with accurate andsufficient payment details from SUs
  • OutsourcingManagement : To establish strong control environment and SLA standard withexternal vendors and internal supporting units to ensure outsourcing servicequality
  • Preparepresentation materials for senior audience during management meetings includingBusiness Reviews with HK CEO, Regional Business Review with Group CEO, HKCountry Budget and Strategy Off-sites
  • Handleenquiries and requests from Exchanges and regulators (with support fromCompliance
  • Handle tax matters in relation to the brokerage service including USWithholding Tax
  • Contributeto the leading strategic projects in support of business or departmentobjectives
  • Formulaterecommendations for improvement in business objectives
  • Enhanceexisting procedures and systems in order to drive improvements in businessperformance
  • Carry outbusiness analysis within set parameters and produce reports, summarizing trendsand key messages for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage projects or programmes with clear overallobjectives, planning and developing approach and ensuring delivery within cost,time and quality standards to enhance business effectiveness
  • Requirements :

  • Degreeholder in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related disciplines
  • Minimum8 years of relevant experience in financial service industries
  • Stronganalytical skills, excellent in planning skills and attention to details
  • Familiarwith regulations applicable to brokerage and risk management principles
  • Conversantto industry best practices and able to concurrently manage a broad portfolio oftasks
  • Experiencein handling FATCA and US withholding tax matters
  • Self-motivated,with ability to build rapport with other stakeholders and partners
  • Strongproblem-solving, analytical skills and communication skills with good commandof written and spoken English
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
