ACCOUNT DIRECTOR (Digital)
The Account Director has responsibility for managing and growing the client relationship of an account or portfolio of accounts.
The Account Director provides engagement leadership, develops senior level client relationships and is regarded by the client as an expert and trusted advisor.
The Account Director serves as the leader of the core Critical Mass team, which partners with a client or clients. The Account Director is responsible for client satisfaction and overall business profitability.
Financial management of account revenue and profitability for the business unit
Develops and delivers organic growth within accounts
Provides strategic direction for assigned clients within the business unit
Achieves positive results through digital programs
Delivers metrics on the overall quality of the relationship and the product provided to the accounts
Ensures all Statements of Work are documented, accurate, and implemented
Fosters relationships with other Account Directors and Account Team Members across the company
Mentors and coaches team members while motivating and leading overall project teams
Defines and implements best practices at the business unit level
Contributes to overall development of the Client Services department
Must have 5-10 years of Account Management experience in an Internet Marketing, Digital Agency or Management Consulting discipline
Requires experience working with complex clients delivering annual services revenues in excess of $1MM each
Has obtained a Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas : business, marketing, communications, e-business engineering or computer science
Must demonstrate a solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management, Content Management, Analytics, Digital Marketing, eCommerce, Database Marketing, Relationship Marketing and Internet Technologies
Has proven competencies in managing complex teams and client relations
Possesses solid experience in formulating and driving long-term strategic account plans, strategies, and roadmaps and possess the ability to react quickly, assess, and implement solutions
Exhibits advanced negotiation, communication, writing, and organization skills with an outstanding attention to detail
Facilitates team motivation and team leadership skills and the ability to work with a distributed team
Must be able to deal with others using tact and always exhibiting good judgment
Excellent English communication skills is a must.
Mandarin language skills is desired.
