The Hong Kong HR team would like to recruit a HR Advisor (Generalist) on a 12 month fixed term contact (maternity cover). Lateral Recruitment
With the support of the HR Generalist, coordinate and conduct inductions (for all new joiners including secondees)
Prepare induction packs for new joiners / secondees
Prepare employment references as and when necessary
Set up personnel files for new joiners. Keep filing cupboard up-to-date
HR Administration related to their life cycle (probation, letters of employment, promotions, ad hoc queries)
Administrate leaving procedures including agreeing last employment date, resignation letters, any outstanding annual leave etc

Salary Review Process
Liaise with the K&I team to update the HR policies on Intranet
HR Administration (ie. maintaining templates, filing, expenses)
Administering promotion of Associates / Senior Associates / Consultants for the HK office and the Asia Pacific region and coordinating distribution of letters accordingly
Regional HR Matters
Provide administrative support to Regional Head of HR & Development including but not limited to :
Partner related matters (ie. appraisals, feedback reports, remuneration packages, contracts, etc.)
Collating data and analysing statistics for the Asia Pacific region (ie. statistics, attrition rates, resource tables, headcount, etc.)
Prepares both routine and confidential correspondence, reports, presentations and other complex documents
Ad hoc matters
Possess proven organisational and administration skills.
Ability to produce results within tight timeframes and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Have strong problem solving and analytical skills
Chinese language skills an advantage but not essential
You will be commercially aware and have knowledge of HR policies, structures, and strategy.
Strong influencing, communication and team working skills as well as proven ability to work on own initiative and be able to demonstrate credibly with people at all levels.
Experience of IT systems including Peoplesoft and I-grasp preferred but not essential required.
