Key Responsibilities

We work collaboratively with our global colleagues, providing a seamless service from an interactive, innovative work place.

Working closely with the team leader, you will oversee a team of administrators delivering a range of corporate administration services to a varied portfolio of clients in Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Hong Kong.

You will manage the more complex requests of clients' affairs, work closely with the Director and assist the team managers in supervising the team overall performance and maintaining good service level for clients and Ogier

Additional responsibilities include :

  • Be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio of the team including all aspects of administration & company secretarial matters such as drafting more complex minutes and resolutions, managing incorporation or transfer-in matters and ensuring statutory filings are duly
  • made.

  • Ensure daily task monitoring is undertaken for both yourself and direct team members , ensuring that company policies, procedures and guidelines are adhered to in the team and that a professional quality service is provided to clients and outside contacts.
  • Establish, build and maintain strong relationships and networks with both internal, cross jurisdictional and external contacts.
  • Build key relationships with clients, ensuring the team respond swiftly to client requests and manage client expectations;
  • Work directly with the team manager to ensure the planning, coordination and completion of all regulatory obligations and administration requirements within strict deadlines for the portfolio of entities, including preparation of statutory filings, annual payment or ad-hoc reporting in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Acting as a mentor by providing guidance to other junior team members. Supervising and assisting in the training and development of staff and lead the team knowledge sharing session on a regular basis.
  • Working closely with Finance team for payment arrangement and identifying the client settlement effectively.
  • Regularly liaise with compliance team for risk management by reviewing on-boarding of new business and re-assessment of the existing matters and ensure the team follows the latest due diligence and certification requirement.
  • Contributing towards the business as a whole in identifying process improvements, including improvements in policies and procedures and any other service innovation changes that would improve the client experience.
  • Ensure understanding by the team and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures, including those related to the prevention of anti-money laundering and terrorist financing, reporting of suspicious activity and transactions, client due diligence, approval of risk assessment panel and record keeping.
  • Acting as a role model of the team through effective and positive leadership behaviours and willing attitude.
  • Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

    We are looking for a strong background in corporate administration services with 5-7 years experience focusing on Cayman / BVI.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent academic background and considerable practical experience, supported by a relevant professional qualification such as ICSA, STEP, HKICS.

    Strong technical knowledge of the applicable statutory laws and other related regulatory requirements are key. We are looking for commitment to the highest standards of client service based on understanding needs and delivering solutions.

    A strong ability to provide sound commercial advice is key and a knowledge of Viewpoint would be an advantage.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential and fluent in both Mandarin and English.
