The Role : Director, Sales & Business Development - ESG Solutions

The Impact : With the exponential growth of importance in ESG topics such as sustainability, energy transition, climate change and governance amongst investors and companies, an exciting opportunity has emerged for a seasoned sales professional to join our team to spearhead the development and growth of our ESG solutions business.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial individual with a deep knowledge in Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) topics, and is keen to elevate their career in a fast growing business to drive the growth of our ESG advisory and solutions business and teams.
The ideal candidate should come with extensive experience in solution sales, and is willing to adopt a start up attitude to help develop innovative solutions to suit the market.

Core responsibilities will include new client acquisition (prospecting, lead generation), executing on marketing campaigns and driving partnership discussions.
This role would suit someone that has experience in management consulting, accounting & advisory, or come from an ESG data management background.
Drive revenue targets through new client acquisitions as well as driving the cross-selling of ESG solutions to existing clients
Research the market and execute on strategies and marketing campaigns to drive new client development
Develop our brand in the market as a leader in the ESG data, advisory and technology solutions space
Collaborate with existing sales specialists, account managers and our internal product specialists to leverage existing relationships to cross sell our solutions
Maintain consistently high activity levels such as prospecting calls & emails, client meetings, production demonstrations
Identify and cultivate meaningful strategic partnerships that can drive significant business growth
What We’re Looking For :
Minimum of 8 years B2B consultative selling experience. success as a new business hunter and proven success in developing partnerships.
Prior team leadership experience will be a plus.
Deep experience working in sales selling consultative financial services advisory and / or ESG solutions to corporations and / or capital markets participants
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency (both written and spoken) in English and Mandarin and / or Japanese.
Solid knowledge of ESG principles and applications. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, preferred.
CFA or MBA designations are a plus
Self driven, ability to work independently and as a team, and curious to learn new skills and products
Knowledge of utilizing CRM software to track sales opportunities and customer activity
Grade (relevant for internal applicants only) : 12
The Location : Hongkong or Shanghai
