We are seeking qualified and motivated researchers to investigate Anammox-based biotechnology for energy-efficient wastewater treatment for organic (foodwaste) resource recovery facilities (https : / / www.
opark.gov.hk / ). The appointee will work in our theme-based research scheme (TBRS) project "A Paradigm-shifting, Fully-integrated, Compact Wastewater-to-resource Facility" (https : / / www.
ugc.edu.hk / eng / rgc / funded research / layman / theme / trs9 lay sum.html#201 19) and will collaborate with a strong cohort of faculty, postdocs, and graduate students.
The position is available for multiple years; however, annual renewal is dependent on funding and progress made by individual.
Training plan (for future career development) will be special designed according to the career goals of the individual (e.
g. Master student to continue PhD study and / or tech-entrepreneurship).
Applicants should have a master’s degree in related discipline. (Duration : 1 year)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided where applicable.
