APAC Head of Finance
Hong Kong


  • Coordinate all of the finance competences in APAC region
  • Define objectives, set strategies and implement action plans as per the finance requirements of the Group
  • Harmonize methodologies and reporting in his / her perimeter in accordance with Group rules
  • Supervise following activities (under responsibility of Controllers) : Accounting & tax Controlling Reporting to HQ Budget, forecasts and mid-term plan Cash & credit management Every significant financial operations / projects
  • Participate in Group projects in his / her area, when required
  • Manage functionally the Controllers within his / her perimeter in coordination with the General Managers
  • Manage directly SSC Accounting transactional activities in Hong Kong for a transitory period
  • Part of the APAC Senior Management team
  • Head of SSC Accounting

  • Manage directly the accounting transactional activities in scope of SSC HK in coordination with the Group Accounting and SSCs Director
  • Ensure on time and efficient preparation, validation and submission of SAP FC packages for consolidation purposes of Legal Entities in the scope of SSC HK
  • Manage GAP local statutory Financial statements and local tax filing
  • Manage External Auditor relationship in coordination with the Group Accounting and SSC Director for APAC area
  • Manage SSC HK accounting transactional activities extension linked to Go Big China ramp up (integration of China new activities)
  • Financial Controlling on APAC level

  • In collaboration with the APAC CCO, preparation of budget and Mid Term Plan according to Corporate requirements, instructions and policies
  • Performance of continuous reforecast of the activity and anticipation of year-end landing
  • Analysis of budget deviations
  • Cost control and identification of profitability improvements
  • Support to local management for business tracking and decision making (information, analysis, )
  • Reporting (sales, P&L, balance sheet, inventories, headcount, ) in line with Corporate requirements
  • Internal Control

  • Implementation, application and control of all Corporate guidelines, instructions and policies
  • Detection and prevention of frauds
  • Liaison with internal and external audit
  • Required Skills & Background

    Educations & Experiences

  • Degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance
  • Min 10 year of leadership in an international matrix organization
  • Strong experience as Controlling Business Partner as well as functional Accounting
  • Ideally auditor experience from BIG 4 environment
  • Min 5 Experience in people management
  • Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills and leadership required
  • Strong team worker
  • Ability to influence in a fast-changing environment
  • Solution orientated and willing to challenge the status quo
  • Fluent in English, ideally Mandarin
