This is a hands-on and high profile leadership role. The role holder has a substantial opportunity to transform the experience of colleagues, from thoughtful development of strategic initiatives through to on-the-ground delivery.

Ensuring the agenda is compelling and flawlessly executed, the role holder leads a team and inspires participation from a wider group of volunteers drawn from teams across Digital, Data and Development (D3).

Working as an integrated member of the Strategic & Organizational Development team, the role holder will take global responsibility for specific initiatives and act as the custodian of the agenda for D3 in Asia Pacific.

  • Leading specific global initiatives aimed at improving the Colleague Experience in D3 for colleagues in one or more D3 locations for example;
  • talent management, learning and development, performance management etc.

  • Leadership of Colleague Experience activities in D3 across Asia Pacific.
  • Functional and entity leadership of Hong Kong based members of the Strategic & Organisational Development team who are focused on delivering the Colleague Experience for D3 in Asia Pacific.
  • Requirements

  • Self-starter who can work autonomously or in a team whilst working in high pressured environments
  • Able to analyse and interpret people data and business information and use this information to drive change and delivery
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Able to achieve performance and results through others even when resource is not within direct control
  • Identify with, support and visibly role model of the bank's values and behaviours
  • Proven planning and prioritising skills
  • Comfortable with complex management structures and ambiguity
  • Pragmatic and effective at building relationships and consensus
  • Demonstrates flexibility when addressing shifting or competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills to influence change and challenge long-standing beliefs / prejudices
  • Practical experience of delivering Internal Communications and People Change / Human Resource activity
  • Experience of operating within a Regional or Global team
