Your field of responsibility
Your responsibilities include :
Advising on PRC cybersecurity, data protection, digital banking, corporate secretariat esp. in the cross-entity, cross-border context
Advising on asset finance pilot schemes accessing PRC onshore assets such as distressed assets and receivables.
Advising on PRC onshore fund formation and providing ongoing support, especially outbound funds.
Providing transactional support from a PRC legal and regulatory perspective to wealth management, derivatives and structured products which require specific PRC expertise, including reviewing term sheets, presentation / marketing materials, confirmations and other transactional documents, assessing capacity and authority and identifying reputational risk
Assisting in providing legal support across all divisions concerning PRC inbound and outbound investment channels such as onshore commodities futures, Stock / Bond Connect, QFII / RQFII and QDII / RDII regimes and other PRC related projects and business initiatives
Reviewing PRC related general legal agreements
Attending relevant industry meetings pertaining to the PRC
Researching and preparing reports on the latest legal and regulatory developments in the PRC which may impact the businesses or present new business opportunities
Advising on any PB onshoring and other PB collaboration initiatives relating to China, whether via online or offline channels.
Advising on outsourcing arrangements to and from CS Group vis-à-vis our PRC entities

The lawyer will provide legal support covering a wide range of Private Banking, AFG and Global Markets financial products, services and projects engaged in by the Bank relating to Greater China primarily from a jurisdictional perspective.

Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess :
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience working in a leading law firm or in-house at a leading financial institution
Outstanding interest in financial markets / services
With PRC legal and regulatory knowledge, prior experience in wealth management, derivatives and structured products is desirable
Proficiency in Mandarin is essential in order to draft legal documents and cater to the China market
Outstanding legal and analytical skills with a good judgment and control mind-set
Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative and can deliver on time under pressure with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
Outstanding teammate along with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
Able to work effectively and collaboratively with other teams, businesses and relevant partners possessing clear communication and good interpersonal skills, resilient under-pressure, and able to master new material quickly
