We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Support Manager .

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide User Acceptance Test support and consultation to service or system enhancement, operational design or streamlining and procedure establishment in different business areas
  • Review business or functional requirement and User Acceptance Test documents
  • Ensure full test coverage of all functional requirements with traceability between test cases and requirements
  • Ensure effectiveness and new user requirements on customer facing systems are met
  • Identify production problems and implement solutions, recommending application of technology, deploying robust business and operation design
  • Interact with key stakeholders to identify and communicate, progress, dependencies, risks and issues
  • Maintain the robustness of end to end processes and leverage on partnership with Information Technology to ensure service availability and accessibility by customers
  • Closely work with business, host and offshore testing teams on projects suggesting prioritization to ensure project objectives of quality and timeliness are met
  • Ensure project management processes are effective and propose improvements or changes as required
  • Participate in handling incidents to minimize service or business impact and supervise support of helpdesk function to internal customers
  • Comply with regulatory requirements, internal control standards and group compliance policy, ensure operational risks are adequately identified, assessed, mitigated and controlled
  • Implement timely recommendations made by internal or external auditors and external regulators
  • Requirements

  • University Degree holder
  • Proven experience in banking products, particular in insurance and wealth
  • HSBC systems knowledge particular in insurance and wealth will be an asset
  • Frontline or digital working experience is preferable such as branch, phone banking, internet banking
  • Excellent understanding of project lifecycle
  • Awareness of HSBC project management tools and wide knowledge of hardware, software, operations and networks
  • Proven project management skills and experience of managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience of managing resources using appropriate communication and planning skills
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Excellent decision making and problem solving ability
  • Sound judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems
  • Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above
