Partnership with key stakeholders and sizable teams to plan, manage and execute testing activities for digital e-commerce, retail solutions and business intelligence platforms in APAC region ensuring high quality delivery.
The job holder is accountable for developing test strategies, identify, recommend and implement QA process improvement actions.
The job holder should be well versed in latest QA trends and methodologies like Agile, Devops and should be a strong leader to convince and drive associated teams for timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide QA support to digital e-commerce, retail solutions and business intelligence platforms in APAC region, which include VF-
owned platform, 3rd party platform and e-commerce marketplaces in APAC region.
Develop and maintain business relationships with the other GBT teams (APAC and global team) as well as forging new relationships within assigned internal customers and external vendors and partners.
Develop & implement QA strategies for Agile, Devops, Automation and Performance testing.
Define & design executable test plans for projects according to the agreed testing strategy and contribute into the program test strategy definition for large program.
Oversee and manage all testing activities across UT, SIT & UAT phases including test case definition, test execution, defect management and status reporting & provide accurate reporting to the business and project teams around the testing progress, risks and issues.
Independently manage testing across multiple projects simultaneously with effective & pro-active communication across stakeholders.
Provide QA governance to third party vendors ensuring quality deliverables.
Partner with & motivate onshore-offshore QA members for timely deliverables.
Define trend and report against Testing KPIs (key performance indicators) in projects providing QA risk assessment and recommend mitigation.
Act as an overall quality owner of projects delivering QA documentation for defects, procedures and process and represent QA in project meetings.
Help in determining and solving root cause of defects / issues appropriately and timely.
Manage test management tools for the allocated project (HP Quality Center experience mandatory).
Promote quality assurance & testing methodology and strategy to team and users.
