The Opportunity

An opportunity to join Manulife’s Asia Regional Distribution team, taking the lead in Transformation initiatives which will create a step-change in Manulife’s Asia Distribution.

This role focuses on two key vectors : - transforming the approach to distribution compensation management, and driving effective execution through collaboration with key stakeholders of the prioritized strategic initiatives for existing channels.

Working closely with the Asia Chief Distribution Officer and the Head of Asia Distribution Strategy, there is large scope for impact and driving massive change!

We are looking for someone with the following experience and traits :

Experience in the operations and management of insurance Agency and Banca channels

Deep experience in strategic channel transformation, able to easily take stock of the current situation, assess how best to drive initiatives through close collaboration with other colleagues, and with a clear focus on value creation

A strong understanding of where and how value is created. We are obsessed about impact, not the planning and process management!

Nice to Haves :

Prior experience in insurance distribution especially relating to transformation of agency and banca channels

Experience in a business consulting environment

Experience with agency compensation structure and management

On the job you will :

Take the lead in transforming the function of the Regional Compensation function through the lens of compensation as a source of strategic value creation

Drive priority transformative initiatives within the Agency and / or Banca channels across the region

Update and refine the existing channel strategies as required

Support Business Units on addressing specific agency and banca challenges as required

Manage & support multiple transformative projects and initiatives across the Regional Distribution portfolio

Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective end-to-end delivery
