Privacy Lead, Go-To-Market (English, Chinese)

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward.

In this role, you will partner with multiple stakeholders to create and deploy product and sales strategies that drive customer success and Google’s growth.

You will partner closely with Product, Sales, Communications, gTech, Marketing, Policy, and other teams to shape the product road map and drive the commercialization strategy for critical products and initiatives.

In this role, you will partner closely with our regional team, as well as Marketing, Communications, Product, Legal, and Sales teams to create materials and events that support our partners and help to evolve the Ecosystem.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy.

We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas.

Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Minimum qualifications :

  • Experience with Ads data privacy
  • Experience in the digital advertising industry, ad technology, and marketing technology
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Chinese fluently
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience with enforcement of local regulations, in order to translate general communications into specific implications
  • Experience influencing people across functions within a large organization
  • Experience building clear, compelling stories for a range of audiences working with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience managing customer situations in the region (e.g., advertisers, agencies, publishers), and dealing with C-level customers, driving results through relationships
  • Knowledge of Google advertising solutions, in particular of audience solutions
  • Understanding of Google’s privacy direction, policies, and main privacy product features
  • Create and lead cross functional Privacy strategy to ensure market readiness. Working with Sales, Government Affairs and Public Policy, Legal, Communications, Marketing, and Partnerships to align and deliver against market priorities.
  • Enable Sales Partners to support Privacy activation with the Privacy Sales Enablement lead. Adapt privacy narrative and develop market point of view.
  • Market specific external engagement strategies to share Googles Privacy position with partners and industry bodies and collaborate in the evolving Privacy ecosystem.
  • Adapt global narratives and regional research to create privacy narratives for Industry engagements and Google events. Leading sales response to announcements, product changes and new Privacy regulations.
  • Support client conversation with a privacy narrative / lens and help answer seller questions.
