Internship - Sourcing - Material Operation (6 months, Jan 2020)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization :

Act as bridge to connect and consolidate data / information across material operation team in all location.

Key Responsibilities and Projects in bullet points :

  • Optimize T2 supplier’s monthly performance report process;
  • Provide training to T1 and T2 to ensure data accuracy and report process;
  • Own T2 supplier’s monthly performance report and analyze root cause;
  • Support director to create SharePoint dashboard for information sharing and keep maintenance;
  • Update document and guideline;
  • Manage and track project status from all location;
  • Update T2 supplier contact list;
  • Organize team meeting and facilitate workshop;

    • Key Objectives (special tasks and learnings) :

  • Optimize report process and create SharePoint for information sharing across all locations.
  • Opportunity to learn how to work with team in different culture (China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan).
  • Opportunity to enhance communication skill and project management skill.

    • Key Relationships :

    Material operation team in different location; all T1 factories; key T2 suppliers; Portfolio team; Material planning team

    Required main study courses :

    IT and business management

    Preferred university / discipline : NA

    Required language skills :

    English, Mandarin, Cantonese

    Additional skills / qualifications :

    excellent IT skill, good analytic skill, good at document drafting and PPT creation
