Omni-channel Experience - IT Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Reporting to the CIO HK and Macau, the incumbent will be responsible for : Co-defining the HKMO technology and digital priorities Work with CIO and executive leadership team in defining HKMO’s technology & digital priorities and HKMO’s role within Asia Next Generation IT roadmap Act as a strategic partner / advisor to the business and make recommendations on relevant solutions to meet business goals and strategies Take on the technical lead to ensures technology solutions requested by the business are fully explored and well challenged for business value Leading HKMO omni-channel retail technology project delivery Lead omni-channel technology implementation (global / regional project rollout and HKMO specific initiatives) for HKMO market Manage a team of diverse functional (Business) and technical (external vendors) skills throughout the requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation phases of the project Lead project initiation including define project scope, budget and resource requirements across IT and business divisions Manage the solution & vendor selection process, including drafting, issuing, and reviewing RFPs Develop project plans and lead the delivery / implementation of all assigned project in an agile manner Provide Steering Committee with visibility into project progress, while supporting effective decision-making, approvals, and direction in a consistent manner Monitor project budget and work with the project, vendor, and Finance team to ensure costs are tracked on a timely basis and reflected in the forecasts accurately Supporting technology set up for experiential event and store renovation / opening Support the business team on budget planning that related to technology cost and translate business requirements to technical requirements / specifications Manage a group of on-demand resources (external) to set up network infrastructure and ensure the performance Collaborate with business divisions to test the application of emerging tech and IOT devices to deliver immersive experiences and drive operational efficiency Contributing towards HKMO’s new ways of working Champion new ways of working and embed agile methodologies in the collaboration with the business stakeholders and external vendors Establish collaborative and productive relationships with Regional & Global IT, business partners, external vendors, and service providers Support and work collaboratively with CHANEL Tech community to share market learnings on we went well and what we could do better PERSON'S SPECIFICATIONS Work experience : At least 5 years of hands on experience in Retail applications with successful implementation references Project manager / technical lead in implementing omni-channel retail applications (Including but not limited to OMS, POS, eCom platform, Customer data platform, Store operation) Experience in an international context and culture Functional / Technical Expertise Good understanding of retail processes and store operation principles Solid experience and technical knowledge in omni-channel retail technology (next generation POS, OMS, eCommerce) design and implementation) General knowledge in information security and network infrastructure Be able to articulate business requirements / needs and translate to technical solutions / specifications Experienced in managing project with local / regional / global stakeholders Sound experience in Scrum Master Required competencies Demonstrated capabilities to think strategically, tactically, and operationally Excellent project management and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate business needs / project issues as well as tactfully negotiate on project scope, timelines, and project team member responsibilities Proven multi-tasking skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects Strong negotiation skills and the ability to get results through formal channels and informal networking Demonstrated leadership skills to provide clear direction, influence, coach and motivate internal and external teams to deliver high quality outcome.
