Our Legal Services Department supports a full range of legal support and services on legal issues relating to business and operations of the Club.
These services covers issues relating to a range of consultancy and other engagements for the Club’s various operations, including IT, procurement, racing, contentious matters on commercial and employment issues as well as intellectual property and licensing matters.
The position will provide support and assistance to the lawyers in the Legal Services Department in their provision of legal support to Business Units in the Club.
You will :
provide secretarial and administrative support to in-house lawyers
prepare initial drafts of legal and transactional documents using standard templates
prepare execution versions of legal and transactional documents
manage departmental central filing system
support and administer various operational licensing matters, including collection and review of supporting information and documentation and monitoring of the application processes
provide administrative and compliance support on Club policies and procedures handled by the department
liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties
handle general enquiries
You should have :
a degree with a minimum of five years experience as a secretary or processes administrative role
experience with a law firm or a multinational company would be an advantage
excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese, proficiency in Mandarin is a plus, as well as excellent business and telephone etiquette
strong written English ability would be an advantage
strong organisational and interpersonal skills
great working and learning attitude and a team player with an ability to work independently
good initiative and able to work under pressure
ability to properly handle matters of sensitive and confidential in nature
high proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
