Hours of work :

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm; however you will be required to work such hours as necessary to carry out your duties.

Department / Role Overview :

We are currently looking for a paralegal to join our Corporate Transactions group in Hong Kong. The job holder will work closely with partners, counsels and associates to provide transactional support to ensure that our lawyers can focus on the client's needs and deliver quality and efficient service.

Main responsibilities :

  • Drafting, reviewing and proofreading documents;
  • Assisting with legal due diligence exercises and preparing legal due diligence questionnaires and reports;
  • Conducting legal and company research and analysis;
  • Handling legal translations;
  • Assisting with verification of disclosure documents; and
  • Assisting with the signing and completion of the transactions.
  • Essential skills and experience :

  • Relevant 1-2 years' experience in IPO and M&A;
  • A university degree in law;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and native Mandarin speaker;
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and common sense;
  • Good work ethic and ability to work to deadlines; and
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
