Your field of responsibility
Your responsibilities include :
Analyze new and existing corporate and FI counterparties primarily in Greater China, conduct in-depth risk analysis and recommend credit ratings, transaction ratings and risk appetite;
Provide credit approval recommendation for fixed income, equity and lending transactions; Be able to work independently on complex credit proposals to reach a solution under the mentorship of seniors;
Participate in client meetings together with Front Office colleagues to conduct due diligence. Travel at times would be required;
Set credit terms and review documentation including loan facility agreement, ISDA / CSA and other credit agreements;
Closely supervise risk events and raise to management, including but not limited to with industry trends and risk themes and portfolio companies’ specific news;
Performing industry reviews of covered portfolio and stress testing of covered portfolio companies on a regular basis;
Prepare for audit, regulatory initiatives and internal projects pertaining to CRM;
Collaborate with the wider APAC credit team to cover businesses and counterparties in the other markets; as well as the wider CRO APAC team and other risk functions to improve the governance and risk control culture of the bank.

Greater China CRM team is composed of seasoned and talented members across different locations looking after the credit risk derived from a variety of investment banking businesses.
The team is looking for candidates who are accountable as a team-player with a strong critical thinking and communication capability.
This role requires an experience in the APAC credit market, preferably China. He or she is able to work independently to identify key risks and mitigates as well as to communicate the view succinctly in writing and oral presentation.

Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess :
University graduate, with minimum 3-5 years in credit risk management area with good understanding and strong preference for corporate credit experience;
Knowledge of the capital markets and experience in investment banking business and corporate lending;
Outstanding analytical and problem solving skill, strong communication skill, independent thinking and self-starter with hands-on and dedicated approach;
Collaborate and be prepared to engage people from other locations and units on handling business requests and initiatives;
Proficient in Mandarin and English due to business and partner requirements;
Keen to take initiatives and able to leverage technology for problem solving.
Familiar with Microsoft software such as word, excel and power point is essential.
