Position to be based in Shenzhen or Hong Kong
Reporting to the Global Head of the Industry Vertical, the role will oversee and manage the day-to-day operational performance of the assigned global customers.
The position needs to effectively translate customer requirement into operational solutions and serves as a single point of contact in the region for the assigned customers.
Responsibilities :
Participate as an active member of the global account team at the account level and industry vertical level to develop and maintain expert level knowledge of the assigned accounts.
Develop and execute customer account plan and implement customer solutions to retain and grow customer revenues and relationships.
Identify opportunities within customer account and engages colleagues and line businesses to implement them.
Set productivity goals and KPI’s for the logistics activities in accordance with the client’s requirements.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with customer to review metrics, discusses business opportunities and operational challenges.
Stay informed on market trends and developments with their assigned accounts and within the logistics arena.
Dedicated to continuous improvement and participates and manages process through Perfect Performance Program.
Develop management reports to track KPI’s.
Requirements :
Bachelor or above qualification in supply chain or related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of relevant global account management experience in international freight forwarder.
Passionate and highly motivated self-starter.
Strong customer orientation and result driven.
Ability to identify trends from data analysis.
Ability to understand and develop workflow models for both supply chain and electronic networks and data systems schematics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages preferred.
