Job Summary

RB is looking for a Communications Lead for Greater China & Global eBusiness to drive an omni-channel communications plan which is aligned to the overall company communications strategy.

This new role has been created to support a growing communications function as the business undergoes a period of exciting transformation.

This means that while you’ll be supported by the Global Director of Communications, you’ll be expected to make and own decisions to drive the business agenda in your region.

This exciting role incorporates both internal and external communications so we’re looking for a communications superhero who is comfortable in both environments.

Internal Communications

  • Be a trusted advisor to the Senior / Executive Vice President and leadership team of the region and advise on communication practices to drive engagement between leadership and employees.
  • Create and execute an omni-channel communication plan (articles, presentations, emails, events, digital signage and videos) aligned to the overall business unit communications strategy.
  • Write and curate regional news stories for inclusion on the corporate intranet and the employee advocacy platform.
  • Partner with HR and HQ to plan and activate people and culture initiatives in the region to drive employee engagement.
  • Design and deliver key events / conferences i.e. agenda, messaging, visuals.
  • Locally activate our global NGO partnership and support communication of GiveTime employee events to drive social impact in the local community.
  • Manage a comprehensive measurement plan including reporting and metrics for all employee communications and develop action plans to improve future engagement
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest communication trends / practices and identify opportunities to improve employee experiences.
  • External Communications

  • Develop and manage strategic media relationships and position RB as a leading authority in FMGC and our products as best in class.
  • Support the creation of messaging for external events
  • Create a regional PR strategy to support the strategic business priorities and company vision.
  • Collaborate with HR to position RB as an employer of choice and drive our inclusion and diversity agenda.
  • Seek opportunities to raise the profile of the regional leadership team and position them as industry thought leaders.
  • Partner with the Corporate Crisis Team to organize crisis training for the regional leadership team, and in times of crisis be the point of contact for your region.

    Your passion and experience in communications will inspire and motivate those around you.

    You’ll need to have proven ability of working with multiple stakeholders at all levels of an organisation and experience of managing multiple projects concurrently is also important.

    We’ll need you to be comfortable with ambiguity as we continue our transformation but that should excite you because you’ll view every challenge as an opportunity.

    Strategic and tactical, you’ll roll up your sleeves to get the work done and see your plan through from inception to implementation.

  • This role will report to the Global Director Internal Communications & Employee Engagement, Hygiene Home, with a dotted line into the Regional HR Lead
