Purchasing Manager (Station Dongguan) (EMS)

  • Supervise a team of buyers in handling purchasing daily activities
  • Responsible for RFQ and Sourcing activities
  • Keep close contact with key vendors via regular meetings including cost negotiation & reduction, vendor’s audit process etc
  • Participate in conference calls with overseas vendors and customers
  • Co-ordinate with internal departments for new projects
  • Report Key Performance Index to the top management
  • Ensure material cost competitiveness without compromising on quality
  • Requirements

  • Form 5 or above;
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in in electronic components, mechanical parts, packaging parts with at least 4 years’ in purchasing managerial position in PRC;
  • Good sense of business ethics;
  • Global vision of components’ supply and business trend;
  • Experience with Global & China Sourcing and supplier quality assessment;
  • Strong knowledge in Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing process;
  • Good vendor sourcing, cost negotiation and communication skills, responsible and independent;
  • Relevant experience in project co-ordination with internal departments
  • Good knowledge in MS office, including Words / Excel / PowerPoint;
  • Good command of communication in English and Mandarin;
  • Knowledge in ERP system
  • Work station at Dongguan Factory 5 days per week
  • Travel abroad as required
  • Holidays : Bank Holiday
