    Role Purpose

  • Assist and support Manager, Inflight Service Training manage cabin crew service training program;
  • Authority to make decisions regarding risk tolerability associated with cabin operations with respect to the safety and / or security of cabin operations based on the tolerability defined in the operational Risk Matrix;
  • Responsible for ensuring operations under the responsible areas are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and HKE's policies, standards, and requirements;
  • Manage the workflow and seek for the best solutions to improve training workflow procedures;
  • Plan and manage initiatives in training schedule according to company services standard, ensure timely implementation for all training and workshops;
  • Execute training needs assessment and make necessary recommendations & training solutions;
  • Manage cabin crew performance during training courses;
  • Upkeep in-flight service training manual and training records;
  • Review & design cabin crew training program with various tool;
  • Deliver training course for induction, promotion and service enhancement training;
  • Manage cabin crew training assessment system;
  • Monitor all training administration work and training instructor schedule & course responsibilities;
  • Liaise with RT & D department for cabin crew safety training arrangement;
  • Manage training venue and facilities;
  • Any other ad-hoc related support duties;
  • Perform flying duty as Management Flyer when required.
  • The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor degree or above;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in aviation industry;
  • Knowledge of in-flight service operation procedure;
  • Solid experience in designing and implementation of training program;
  • Solid experience in planning, organizing and developing training programs & manuals;
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English & Chinese and an additional language will be an advantage;
  • Skills in Computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Please note that with effect from 1 June 2022 onwards, all HK Express employees and contractors who work in Cathay House and all other Cathay Group Company premises in Hong Kong must have received a third dose of COVID 19 vaccine.

    Being tested regularly for COVID-19 is not an option. Consideration will be given to those who are unable to get vaccinated for valid medical reasons.
