Summary :
Taking major role in the formulation, implementation and performance tracking of credit tests for credit card and personal loan products offered by the Retail Banking Division
Key Role and Responsibilities :
Partner with Business Units to develop credit tests, new products and programs to optimize risk-reward balance by preparing credit analysis for the formulation of credit criteria and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines
Work with IT to implement credit tests, new products and programs into credit initiation and credit management systems by preparing user requirement and performing user acceptance tests
Monitor credit performance of credit tests, new products and programs and recommend fine-tuning and normalization of credit tests
Provide support to Team Head to review and on-going fine-tune credit policies and keep track of portfolio quality and performance
Prepare and analyze credit MIS timely and accurately for internal and external parties
Job Requirements :
University graduate preferably with major in Statistics, Risk Management, Quantitative Analysis, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines
5 years of working experience in credit risk management of retail banking or related areas
Hands-on experience in the formulation, implementation and performance tracking of statistical tests
In depth knowledge in regulatory requirements introduced by various regulators, e.g. HKMA
High proficiency in SAS programming skills
Knowledge and experience in corporate lending and / or credit modelling is definitely an advantage
