Reporting to Head of Infrastructure Services, you will participate in the transformation to the next generation of IT infrastructure and supervise a team to ensure the operating stability, efficiency and security of an organization's network systems and infrastructure.
You are responsible to perform a range of work in infrastructure development, communications, technical support and related areas.
Responsibilities :
Assists Department Head to define a medium to long term network and infrastructure strategy and roadmap and keep on fine-tuning and maintaining a secured and high performance IT infrastructure
Guides the Technical Support Managers to ensure the projects and tasks are align to the corporate infrastructure and network strategy and have a good management and control on both timeframe and investment
Studies and proposes solutions to support the Group's new business directions and initiatives, including cloud based platform and Fintech initiatives
Provide solution and advice related to system, network and IT infrastructure.
Acts as Project Manager on critical infrastructure projects
Evaluates, fine tunes and develops a cost effective LAN / WAN / SEVER / CLIENT Infrastructure for business to have a high availability platform for doing the business
Ensures IT service providers can provide up-to-standard service level, develop process to monitor their performance and reviewing regularly
Performs inter-network performance management, capacity planning, including managing throughput and traffic flow
Recommend alternative technologies and improvements to increase operations efficiency or cost reduction.
Evaluate IT technologies, market trends and industry plus identify prospective impact on business and operations.
Designs and monitors contingency planning process and regular review contingency plan
Requirements :
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
Minimum 10 years of experience in technical support area in financial services industry
Excellent client management skill and able to prioritize, multitask and follow established procedures to attain positive results when resolving customer issues
Familiar with Linux, Windows, UNIX, DB2, Oracle, SQL and supporting of SAN storage and VMware environment
Experience and familiar with Cloud technology is a plus
Good team management and organizational skill and able to work independently and communicate well with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
Certification in project management and / or technical support management is preferred
Excellent command in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
