The role forms an integral partof the Markets Controlling team of the PB Finance APAC. The role has an overallresponsibility for the finance topics relating to Credit Suisse’s PrivateBanking businesses in North Asia.
The role is key in partnering with COOs andsenior management of the business on topics ranging from performancemanagement, planning and budgets, reporting / analysis and controls, key businessinitiatives and MIS requirements.
You will be required to work collaborativelywith other members of the PB Asia Finance team on all finance topics.
The role is based in Hong Kongand reports to the Head of PB Finance North Asia. Key responsibilities include :
Act as the primary contact to the business on all finance matters, representing finance in business management meetings and committees
To provide visibility on the financial gaps and drivers around cost efficiency, effective Balance Sheet measurement and management at the market and location levels and identify mitigating actions / next steps
Partner with the business to define important metric framework and drive the definition, communication and implementation of the same
To liaise with the business in defining financial dreams and facilitate the Market Level Budget breakdown. This includes the defining and implementing of the methodology for attribution of the market budgets down to the RM level
Participate in key business initiatives in an advisory or leadership capacity. Undertake dedicated analysis to understand business drivers, key trends and develop strategies and actionable recommendations to address
To support the definition and implementation of the strategic roadmap including success of the business wide initiatives
To provide inputs on strategies in driving revenue including pricing and margin analysis

You have relevant prior experience (7-10 years) in Finance / Accounting functions or similar capacity in a global banking environment.
You have strong background supporting a front office business in a finance business partner / controlling capacity or similar.
You possess strong leadership skills and proven ability to partner with the business.
You should have strong communication skills, able to operate with senior executives.
You have analytical skills and strategic problem solving abilities.
You have experience leading a multicultural team with strong staff development capabilities.
Your experience in Private banking is an advantage.
You have an Academic Degree and professional qualifications in a relevant area e.g. Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration.
