Manager, People Business Partner and Resourcing

Job Purpose

You will provide a full spectrum of People and Resourcing service to line business through strong partnering with departmental leaders.

Accountabilities and activities

  • Be the strategic advisor to designated business units in Hong Kong and provide HR strategic planning on talent acquisition, manpower planning, organization structure and people development
  • Work closely with HR counterparts and business stakeholders to ensure smooth HR operations on daily basis
  • Stay abreast of the labour market and competitors, be resourceful in finance sector, give advice and valuable inputs on effective recruitment strategy
  • Manage employee relations, staff engagement initiatives, workflow streamlining, policies and procedure development and review
  • Ensure all activities are in full compliance with the Company policies, local legislations, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in any HR projects as required
  • To be successful in the position, you should have

  • Degree in Human Resources Manager, Business Studies or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in sizable organization, hands-on resourcing and business partnering experiences are essential
  • Well versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and related regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-minded, positive and proactive
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Experience gained from financial sector, regulated environment, or insurance industry would be an advantage
