This role reports to the CFO of Coca-Cola’s Greater China & Mongolia Operating Unit. It requires work with Franchise GM and our bottling partners to drive sustainable growth and improved system economics in Hongkong, Taiwan, Macau & Mongolia (HKTMM).
Lead, align and steward overall finance functionality for HKTMM franchise leadership team.
Externally with Swire Hongkong & Taiwan, Macau and Mongolia bottler, act as front-end finance lead of KO HKTMM on strategy and BP alignment, resource allocation, revenue growth and margin improvement, and equitable profit sharing.
Internally with franchise operations team, provide finance controllership on DME (direct marketing expense) management, OPEX (operating expense) spend, and process compliance.
Lead the overall HKTMM logistic processes, planning, insights and analysis in support of business strategy and growth.
Focus, Scope and Impact
Develop the financial components of LRP (long-range plan) and other type of long-term growth plans for the HKTMM markets
Align annual financial plan with bottlers, such as DME investment and allocation, cooler placement, revenue and profit target
Responsible for monthly rolling estimate and closing for bottlers’ related profit sharing, including System P&L tracking, analysis and projection
Profit sharing : lead profit sharing model alignment, projection, settlement and reconciliation, including annual audit to bottling plants for their DME compliance
NSR growth : weekly / month System NSR analysis and review with franchise leadership and bottling finance counterparts to accelerate revenue
Internal control : ensure compliance of Company’s policies and procedure on financial reporting, expense management and profit share settlement
Manage franchise (bottlers) and customer relationships at the local level
Support insights and brainstorm with Bottlers on local business issues; Prepare & support internal stakeholders on on-going negotiations
Main point of contact for legal / Tax / Treasury / M&A at Franchise Legal Entity level
Support Financially all RGM initiatives deployment at Franchise level
Support new business opportunities, including ROI assessment, for HKTMM markets
Drive synergies, optimization and effectiveness across markets and different supply chain processes and models
Work collaboratively with CPS (concentrate supply) and bottlers, and lead a small team to be fully responsible for daily logistic routines :
Order processing place orders with CPS and outside suppliers based on bottlers orders; follow through on BB and ingredient shipment schedule
Inbound logistic management local warehouse and inland transportation arrangement
Forecast planning prepare beverage and ingredient forecast to CPS and global G2G team to facilitate ingredient purchase
Cost management manage beverage, ingredient and logistic cost
Inventory management manage ingredient ordering timeline and inventory required
Connect with overseas bottlers for the purchase and logistic arrangement of imported products
Monitor core and innovative products performance in optimizing cost and mitigating write-off risks
Able to gather and analyze data from multiple sources and structure tactical / strategic solutions and business propositions
Strong ability to analyze, synthesize and relate trends, behaviors over a wide range of internal and external data and variables.
Confident in using statistics and financial information jointly with intuition and judgment.
Capable of coordinating several people and projects at the same time.
Ability in approaching and analyzing situations from different perspectives and assessing financial impact on each part of the chain.
Able to prepare convincing, well-structured presentations for both internal and external parties in situations where other parties have shared interests and opposing interests.
Presence that conveys confidence, respect and trust.
Fluent in English. Local language of Cantonese and / or mandarin preferred.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of financial analysis experiences, preferably in FMCG industry
Deep knowledge of FP&A and scenario planning
Deep understanding of revenue growth drivers, DCF and other business valuation techniques
Experience of process control as a plus
