The Department
Our Web Services and Solutions department is responsible for day to day execution, project management, design & development, analytics of the HKJC.
com and affiliated event sites. As part of Membership, Strategic Marketing and Branding, the Web Services and Solutions department plays a critical role at web innovation and strategy formulation, aligning and binding multiple internal and external stakeholders into a long term Club wide consistent web perspective.
You will :
provide project management support and leadership for end-to-end delivery of approved web initiatives with a cross functional team
collect and understand business requirements from initiative requestors
ensure those requirements are represented throughout the implementation of the initiatives
identify and provide recommendations for new web content and functionality
conduct impact assessment and prepare plan on web initiatives
work with IT professionals and business units to prepare website functional requirement
coordinate participation of business units in testing, deployment and launch activities
track and report delivery schedules to ensure quality project implementation
ensure that the respective units in HKJC monitor and assess vendor performance in line with contract milestones
You should have :
a university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Communications or related discipline
a minimum of eight years' relevant experience
experience in project management, participation and management of different projects in parallel
experience in web-related project management
familiarity with web technologies
strong communication skills utilized to resolve issues, facilitate meetings, and influence others in order to drive business results
certified or strong experience in methodologies like Agile Project Management, PRINCE2, CMMI, and / or stage-gate approaches
understanding on different business lines of the Club and knowledge on core product offerings, such as Racing and Football would be a plus
strong communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
