The Role Responsibilities

  • To grant a prudent credit decision by assessing and evaluating customer's creditworthiness (including existing customer and new applicant) for Secured Lending products.
  • To assist team manager to manage a team of credit approvers to perform day to day credit underwriting for new applications as well as portfolio tasks with full compliance to all regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct credit assessment on mortgage applications per credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Deliver services rendered meet the agreed service standards.
  • Perform exceptional credit underwriting.
  • Ensure consistency in underwriting standard.
  • Assist team manager to regularly review work steps to improve productivity on services provided and control measures.
  • Assist team manager to motivate, train and develop approvers to ensure performance is optimised.
  • Facilitate and support launch of new products.
