Roles and Responsibilities
Communicate with and manage expectations of stakeholders on the capabilities of the investment trading platforms (20%)
Manage investment trading platforms and their service providers to deliver solutions meeting user requirements (30%)
Conduct IT due diligence on new functions, modules and applications to ensure compliance to AIA policies (10%)
Design workflow, data structure on investment trading platforms and integration strategy with external applications (20%)
Resolve critical issues on the investment trading platforms to meet agreed service levels (10%)
Manage, coach and develop team member to maintain KPIs within agreed threshold (10%)
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
University graduate in computer science or other relevant discipline
Experience
5-year management experience in the technology division of a multi-national financial institutions is a must.
5-year hands-on system administration experience in investment platforms is a must.
Working experience in Blackrock Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM, MARS, PORT, RMN / TMSG, BVAL, BTCA, BVAULT and GNet is a plus
Experience in implementing derivatives trading platform
Technical skills
Understand investment workflow and terminology
Conversant with SDLC methodology and COBIT framework
Microsoft Office & Visio
Certifications / licenses
PRINCE2, ITIL, CISA, or equivalent
PMP or equivalent
Soft skills
Team player and good problem-solving skills
Work independently and under pressure
Result oriented and positive attitude
Language skills
Good communication and presentation skills
Fluent spoken and written English is a must
Fluent spoken Cantonese / Mandarin is a plus
