Lead and manage Digital Innovation and Transformation team to engage business team to define and provide IT solutions to advance AIA HK strategies, enhance customer and distribution channel support and overall AIA business value.

Proactively advocate for and utilize innovative technology establishing AIA as an innovator and creating business advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities :

People Management Duties

  • Direct activities of Digital Innovation and Transformation team.
  • Evaluate performance and plan development for staff engagement.
  • Decide on hiring, promoting and disciplining staff members.
  • Ensure effective succession plan is implemented to review, identify, train and develop potential successors.
  • Implement staff management activities to align with company directive.
  • Ensure team members who perform regulated activities have obtained the relevant licenses and fulfilled the licensing requirements

    Functional Duties

  • Direct Digital Innovation and Transformation Team to manage IT projects, undertake business analysis function and establish quality assurance measures.
  • Oversee Digital Innovation and Transformation Team, responsible for delivery of projects, enhancement & maintenance of Digitalization, and Innovation solutions.
  • Ensure the availability and performance of all applications within the Digital Innovation and Transformation portfolio
  • Liaise with business users for requirements, planning and steering of system implementation and ongoing enhancement.
  • Monitor costs, progress and quality of system deliverables.
  • Evaluate market offerings and introduce innovation for data, analytics, AI, and externally facing technology, i.e. websites, mobile, chatbot, exposed API’s and etc..
  • Manage performance, budgets and staffing arrangement
  • Ensure all AIA HK Digitalization and Innovation applications are maintained in compliance with AIA Security and other standards
  • Job Requirements :

    Education & Experience

  • University graduate with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, at least 5 years at managerial level
  • Competency

  • Strong people management and leadership skill.
  • Sound problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • Proven ability to identify innovation opportunities, define and deliver innovative business function.
  • Sound technical knowledge in IT aspects.
  • Sound business knowledge in insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and consultative skills.
  • You are required to obtain relevant license if your job involves in regulated activities.
