Duties
Reporting to the Associate Director (Student Life and Resources), the appointee will be responsible for :
Management of various university scholarship and financial assistance schemes by liaising with potential / existing donors and award recipients, implementing tailor-made nomination / selection exercises, preparing relevant correspondence and reports for the University and donors;
Management of various HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund Schemes by liaising with government departments and relevant work partners in the University, preparing statistics and reports for government’s auditing exercises;
Providing advice to candidates or recipients of scholarships and / or financial assistance schemes, and organising relevant briefing sessions;
Organising training programmes for award recipients, arranging interviews and coordinating the video production for success stories;
Assisting in maintaining students’ scholarship records in University record system and management of scholarship online application system;
Providing secretarial support to university committee work; and
Performing any other duties as assigned.
The appointee will be also required to work flexible hours on a need basis.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ working experience. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) are required.
Relevant experience in youth services or fund management is preferred.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract;
