The Information Technology and Sustainability (IT&S) Division is structured as a customer centric, portfolio driven organization with departments that are portfolio based.
In this model, Business Relationship Managers aligned to portfolios provide a single point of contact for the business providing innovative technology solutions that contribute significantly to the Club's mission and strategic objectives.
From service delivery perspective, the IT Organization can be categorized as having two distinct components, Projects and Operations.
While the Projects component delivers new IT solutions and services based on business and IT requirements, the Operations component manages and maintains on-going support services for business and IT.
You will :
Support the overall production and non-production database environments
Build the standards and framework, plan the roadmap of Oracle DB
Plan and implement Technology Refreshment program to ensure the healthiness of Oracle database systems
Assist development teams in adopting database standards and framework
You should have :
Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in 11g or above
10+ years of solid experience in Oracle database administration / engineering, ideally working in Technical Support or Infrastructure Team
Strong SQL, design, coding, troubleshooting and tuning skills in Oracle
Exposure to different Oracle architecture in large scale projects will be an advantage
Good knowledge of LINUX and relational modelling skill is preferable
Working knowledge of Windows, SAN, Enterprise monitoring / scheduling tools, Clusters, Virtualization and middleware
Working knowledge of various programming languages especially shell scripting, Java, XML
Good communication skills with Chinese and English, both spoken and written
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. An initial contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
