We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager And Actuary, Finance Actuarial And Par Fund Management .

Principal responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor IFRS results of the company, including the reserve, PVIF and reserve adequacy under the Insurance Companies Ordinance.
  • Oversee regulatory capital requirement and solvency position of Insurance Hong Kong and propose or implement capital efficiency measures.
  • Participation in ALCO committee, Actuarial Control Committee, With Profits Committee and Model Oversight Forum meetings to represent the Chief Actuary
  • Support the Appointed Actuary on compliance with relevant regulations of OCI.
  • Responsible for review and challenge of the key economic and non economic assumptions for life business.
  • Represent the Chief Actuary Office in the production of the Annual Operating Plan
  • Responsible for the model governance on behalf of Chief Actuary Office
  • Secretary of the Insurance Hong Kong with Profits Committee.
  • Liaise with Insurance Hong Kong Finance to produce regular analysis on Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet movements and plan variances
  • Liaise with relevant Insurance Hong Kong senior management to provide expert actuarial advice
  • Requirements

  • University Graduate in a relevant discipline
  • Solid years of experiences within Actuarial
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project management experience, organizational skills and ability to think innovatively
  • Experience preparing or conducting briefings and interfacing at all levels of management
  • Demonstrated initiative, autonomy and commitment to process improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically balanced with practical day to day execution
  • Demonstrated negotiation, leadership and problem solving skills
