Corporate Communications Manager (Job ID : 3239)


  • To assist in planning and coordination of execution of the Bank’s media plan
  • To handle media enquiries
  • To handle external communications related to crises / unexpected incidents
  • To assist in management of the Bank’s reputation risk
  • To devise and drive social media strategy for the Bank at corporate level and prepare posts / videos on social media platforms
  • To prepare external communications materials press releases, advertorials etc
  • To coordinate and manage the logistics of corporate and / or media events
  • To support the day-to-day operations and manage ad hoc projects on the Bank's media relations
  • To manage, update and monitor the Bank’s website on corporate and product / service announcements
  • Requirements

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related discipline
  • A minimum of 8 years' working experience in corporate communications / public relations in a sizable organization
  • Previous working experience in a Marketing, PR or Advertising Consultancy or related field preferred
  • Excellent writing skills in English and Chinese; proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
  • Experience in devising and implementing social media strategy is a plus
  • All rounded with solid experience in stakeholder relations, in particular media relations, Corporate Social Responsibility ( CSR ), social media vendors and video production vendors
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills; good multi-tasking skills with good attention to details; able to work under pressure
  • IT savvy with excellent PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word-processing; knowledgeable in news media and social media
  • A team player with good communication skills and risk awareness
