FWD.COM Purpose Key strategic resources on establish group investment strategy and plan / solution for group and South East Asia markets Key accountabilities Partner closely with the executive team to implement the strategy business development plan and leads development of supporting strategies as required Responsible for identifying, researching and sourcing new market opportunities within traditional asset classes Analyze and define fixed income strategies within various Group Business Units’ (BU) portfolios In facilitating BU in decide on best approaches amalgamation and involve SAA studies coordinate between Finance, Actuarial and Investment Identify suitable investment opportunities to enhance investment yields and total return Propose and manage suitable implementation strategies incl.

Develops and negotiates term sheets and definitive agreements, working closely with Legal and Finance to structure and execute transactions Develop and review investment commentary to support views and insights Owner of GIC preparation and further enhance the quality of investment information delivered to GIC and other committees Closely work with Group Alternatives team on complementary investment ideas and solutions Oversee all Group entities on optimizing key portfolio metrics within existing SAA Lead the development of Investment solutions until and support to align standards for SAA process, portfolio construction, classification, investment governance and implementation Actively support the Group Strategy and TAA team initiative (led by HK CIO) and provide Group’s direction Support and monitor the ALM / SAA process in close cooperation with Actuaries and Risk Managers Provide timely and frequent updates to Group and BUs’ senior management Providing assistance and guidance to the broader investment team, as necessary Develop and drive maturity investment governance with Risk and Compliance teams to develop best practice processes across the Group Build best practice across the group for local considerations and implementation Conduct trainings and provide GO’s guidelines / solutions to juniors and markets where applicable Qualifications / experience 10+ years of experience in finance and investment area, (insurance) asset management Experience in life insurance investment management and ALM an advantage Quantitative or finance related degree from a recognized university CFA or actuarial qualification an advantage Knowledge & technical skills Broad knowledge of capital markets and asset classes, focus on fixed income Capacity to analyze and understand new asset classes Strong communication skills (financial context);

ability to build financial models for a broad array of assets and portfolios Ability to communicate and negotiate with key stakeholders within FWD
