Job Summary :
Provide legal counsel and guidance to the organization on all legal matters worldwide, with the priority being to act as the primary legal support for the APAC region
Specific responsibilities include :
Oversee drafting and negotiation of contracts, including vendor, customer, and outsourcing agreements, software licensing and non-disclosure agreements.
Develop and coordinate implementation of policies and procedures necessary to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
Support Company’s Affirmative Action initiatives, providing equal opportunity to employees and candidates.
Fulfill responsibilities under OHSAS 18001, understand and fully support OHSAS 18001 system.
Manage use of outside counsel to ensure effectiveness and cost efficiency.
Respond to various state specific legal questions raised by internal departments.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Understand and follow company rules and regulations.
Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Education and Experience Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree and Jurist Doctorate from accredited university
Skill in staff development and performance management
Ability to supervise and coordinate the work of outside counsel and internal staff
Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiating skills
Ability to draft contracts and legal responses
Ability to provide competent legal advice on a wide range of legal and policy issues related to all aspects product manufacturing and distribution.
Ability to supervise investigations, analyze information, and draw conclusions
Ability to develop and implement strategic approaches to resolution of complex or sensitive legal issues
Fluent in English and Mandarin.
