1)Tooverview the Unit’s operation in the absence of the Manager.
2)Toact as the relief officer for her peers during their absence.
3)Toprovide a high level of quality support and advice to departments and brancheson all documentation related problems and matters.
4)Toensure efficient and effective scope of operations is always in place withinthe Unit covering various operational processing, system functionality andsupport, customer services.
5)Tostreamline workflow and procedures and introduce automation process in order tocope with the ever changing needs of the market and ongoing expansion ofbusinesses.
6)Topromote the concept of cross-function support, multi-skills training andexperiences sharing to all staff member of the department.
7)Toprovide full operational support to various business initiatives as driven byValue Streams and / or other service delivery channels.
8)Tobalance and to allocate suitable manpower and resources for high and low business seasons according to marketing conditions and needs.
9)Tocultivate good channels of communication with colleagues at all levels andlisten to their comments and feedback on any concerned matters.
10)Tostimulate staff morale within Retail Banking Operations and help to resolve anyarising problems and grievances.
11)Toundertake periodic self-assessment on key controls to assess the properfunctioning and adequacy of existing controls.
12)Toassist in coordinating, facilitating and promoting understanding of operationalrisk and in implementation and management of OR within the Unit.
